Book - The First Counsel by Brad Meltzer

I "borrowed" this book from our library and read it in just a few days. I had bought it for Tim a while back. He had read another Meltzer book and really enjoyed it, so I bought him this one and another of Meltzer's.

This book is similar to reading a good John Grisham legal thriller. It is not overly legal in tone, and has quite a bit of intrigue and mystery to it. The plot twists and turns and as soon as you think you've got it figured out, he disproves that plotline and sends you hurtling off in a totally different direction.

It was a very easy read, no "big words" or "tough legal terms" and it was very hard to put down once it sucked you in (fairly quickly too, I might add).

Good book, I recommend it if you like Grisham-like legal thrillers. We own it, so we would be glad to loan it out :)
